Global Breath Mala Shala
Be part of this world-wide collective movement meditation in action.
The Global Mala Project is uniting yoga, service and collective action. The purpose of the project is to unite people from all walks of life in the global yoga community together from every continent, school, and approach to form a "mala around the earth." We will unify through collective practices based upon the sacred cycle of 108 (108 Surya Namaskar, Mantra, Kriya, Meditation).
The Global Breath Mala Shala is a global community refuge for the power of breath and the art of movement for physical, mental, emotional and spiritual health.
Starting September 20th, 2020 we will move together in a collective ritual, following the rhythm of universal breath syncopation.
We will join thousands of planetary rituals that are raising consciousness on Fall Equinox and UN International Peace Day.
In partnership with UNIFY, Global Days of Unity, Shift Network, Yoga Jubilee, Bhakti Fest and Samudra Global School for Living Yoga,
On the Fall Equinox we will begin with 108 Pranams ~ Breath + Movement Meditation, we will offer a mandala of 24 teachers from around the globe to share their breath movement mantra in our digital Shala and other portals around the world.
About
The intention of the Global Mala is to bring practitioners of many forms of yoga together on the sacred junctures of the year to move, breath and harness collective good will as a Mala of syncopated breath RootSrise movement meditation emerging as the earliest vinyasa of yoga - the power of prostration bringing us to the earth and rising again.
Take Action
The spirit of Global Mala is not to create yet another event, with more administration and extra work, but to inspire and turn to the source of yoga to educate, inspire and bring people together to act on the most critical issues facing individuals, the collective community and the world - all of creation.
Action doesn't have to be a struggle. Ready to take the next step? You can become a contributor to our cause, or participate yourself.
